With a new creative director, Diesel, a brand that we’ve known for years, took on a new direction and a simple way to describe this is fast and modern. Their autumn / winter 2013 collection was very motorbike-chic and to go with this, Redken’s Global Styling Director Guido Palau updated the ponytail by giving it an edge.
Wet look hair is one of 2013′s biggest hair trends and Guido incorporated this trend into the Diesel hairstyle. The result is a grungy wet ponytail that’s easy to do and easy to rock. Tom describes the overall beauty look as “austere and dramatic”. Upon seeing it, we instantly get the feeling of romance with a dark edge to it.
